#011 is now finished and hanging on the wall (or under the tree) I have sourced some more old Oak and Sycamore bodies and this is the first one of the new batch.
The body is natural finish with a dark burst around the edges with a few light coats of Nitro on top. It feels more like the weight of an ash bodied US Telecaster.
The beauty of this guitar is the sound. It has a pair of "Fender American Vintage 62 RI" pickups and they sound great. If you want the original Tele clarity and shimmering clean sound, this is it.
I went with a more traditional pick guard and knobs to make the "Barncaster" effect a bit more subtle
