#018  Moscow  (SOLD)

#018 (Moscow) is the second Stratocaster style guitar by Cruzcaster. From the headstock to the body I went with a very burnt look on this build.  It has a Fender neck, tuners and tremolo bridge.  I installed a set of beautiful sounding hand wound pickups that I bought years ago and was keeping for a special project.  This is it.  Beautiful clean, smooth rich sound.

From there things got a little wild.  When I finish a body I look at the stack of license plates and try to find the perfect one.  This one came from some my son found for me and I immediately could see that the intense yellow was the perfect match.  From there I went a bit subtle and put ivory coloured pickup covers on it.  Well, someone saw a picture of it and wanted to buy it even though it wasn’t finished yet and he insisted on something more “exotic”.  Yellow pickup covers.  I bought a set and put them on and it got rid of the little bit of subtle and went back to wild.  I love it.

Why is it named “Moscow”?  Well that’s where it will be shipped to.  I would love to see it there.  A wild yellow, burnt  Cruzcaster playing the blues in Moscow.
