Cruzcaster #026 has a subtle "Moody Blue" look to it. After my normal burning, beating, brushing and sanding I rubbed in some white "pickling dye" to make a base to hold a subtle amount of blue dye. I was pleased with the look so sealed it with a few thin coats of Nitro lacquer. After searching my pick guard supply I found the perfect one to go with the body, an old Wyoming trailer plate.
The traditional Tele sound comes from a set of Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster pickups. Once again it makes for a great looking, playing and sounding instrument.
