#030 (Sold)
I don’t know if Jonah was born in Battleford Saskatchewan but when he wanted a 22 shell for the 3 way switch on his custom Cruzcaster, and it had to be a rimfire, I thought he must have grown up around there. He and I had several long discussion as we went over all of the aspects of his new guitar. After trying out several pickup combinations he went with the GFS Retrotron in the neck and the SD Hot Lead in the bridge. He liked the burnt look with lot’s of light wood showing through. I guess I’d call it “medium rare” , charred on the outside but barely done inside.
I could go on and on about the vintage vibe and “mojo” of the authentic 50 year old aged metal pick guard taken from the fender of an old tractor, but I won’t. I found a piece of metal on the side of the road and knew it had some special purposes hidden in it. So Jonah got the pick guard made out of that beautiful metal, and whoever buys #028 get the rest of it.
Congratulations Jonah, it sounds, plays and looks great. It was enjoyable designing this together.
