#037 Relic  (Sold)

#037 Relic.  This is the first Cruzcaster to have a rear routed control cavity.  That means there is no chrome cover on the front to hold the knobs, they come straight out of the body.  It lets more of the wood body be displayed.  The only thing “special” about this guitar is everything.  First of all, it’s a one of kind build with unique looks.  I decided on a small metal pick guard to highlight the fact that I had to cut a pocket of pitch out of the body.  A close second would be sound, with some nice Fender American Vintage 52 Tele pickups, and tied for second is great playability.  
When I make something a little unusual I always wonder if anyone else will like it.  Well Dennis C. did.  He asked if I had anything for sale and I told him, “just one”.  I send him a few pictures and the deal was done.  She’s flying to Edmonton next week.
