I had never seen a plate like the one Bob wanted on his Cruzcaster. His birth year of 1954 in Manitoba required a matching license plate. Manitoba didn’t change the plates very year, they just made a bottom strip that was screwed on. So the 1954 plate was made up of two plates (that’s from the factory). He was worried that the two colours would clash too much so I subdued them with my “special effects” and we both loved how it came out. We went with the GFS Humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan hot lead in the bridge and it came out with killer sounds.
