#065 Wolfgang (For sale- $1,199.00)
I built this guitar to give a try at a different body style. I like the simple design and the lightness of the small Wolfgang body so I used it as a platform to try different pickup combinations. I settled on Seymour Duncan P90 in the neck and a Hot Lead in the bridge. I think I played this guitar more than any other, partly because I never offered it for sale and partly because I enjoyed everything about it.
Well, almost. It started life with a very dark color that didn't really grab me, but I still played it a lot. A while ago I decided to change the body color so I disassembled it and gave it a re-finish. I chose a lighter surf-greenish finish with a few other colors and layers showing through. I added a cut-down trailer plate so more or the small body could be seen. I love the look and still love the sound.
