#024  SOLD

There will soon  be a Cruzcaster on the Lunar landscape.  Devin who is with a band called “Lunar Wilde” from Alberta bought #024 before it was posted.  But here it is.
Now this doesn’t look like some of the more “ragged” Cruzcasters that I have built but it has that “one off” beauty.  As I was working on it I fell in love with the natural wood look that was happening on the body and decided to leave it exposed rather than cover it up with a pick guard.  A simple pickup surround for the Filtertron was enough.
I’m always on the search for new looks and also sounds.  I have had a few people expressing interest in the Gretsch  Filtertron sound so I have been researching pickups with that unique sound.  I decided to try a GFS Nashville Filtertron in the neck position and I’m glad I did.  With a Seymour Duncan Lead in the bridge and the Filtertron in the neck it makes for a sweet combo of tones.

Check out Lunar Wilde’s music on the web, pretty nice stuff.  I’m a fan.
