#053  Palm Tree    (Sold)

I thought the “Surfcaster” look was going along pretty well. I had built a couple of them and they were well liked. So along comes Benjamin from Colorado. He said “I like the look but I want something even a little more out there. Can you burn a palm tree or something “beachy” into it.” Well, I’ve been using copper a lot lately and we decided on a copper palm tree with a small silver pick guard and a P90 in the neck. The guitar sounds great with the oak body and looks good with the nice light colours and of coarse, the palm tree.
It’s on it’s way to Colorado but it looks like I’ll be building a matching amp to go with it. It will be almost the same amp as my first “Cruzcaster” amp but a different custom cabinet.
